A former Robert E. Lee  high school quarterback, returns to his  alumni to coach a sport he still loves. Ken Johnson , graduated from Robert E. Lee 15  years ago. From there he went on to play football at Concordia College in Selma,  Alabama.  After college he came back to his hometown Montgomery, where he was  born and raised. Coach Johnson was then  granted the opportunity to help coach football at Capitol Heights Middle school.

Coach Johnson had a successful three  years of coaching at Capital Heights Middle School. His time there,  his team won city champs  two years back to back.  Coach Johnson  wanted to take his coaching expertise to a higher level and coach a high school football team .  This year he was given that opportunity to become Robert E. Lee quarterback coach. With his coaching skills, he  was able to work with his quarterbacks, and get them where they needed to be. Robert E Lee became  Montgomery city champions. Coach Johnson quaterback is ranked number one in the city.

“My Coaching style with my kids on and off the field is to basically to teach them what I have been through in life. I try to influence and teach them through my life experiences,” Ken Johnson.
Coach Johnson says his leadership skills and passion will raise up great quarterbacks.  Coach Johnson says, he motivates his players by speaking positive words over their life, that will empower them and build them up as leaders.
“My impact on the kids, is to seaize the moment and teach them how to become leaders. Hard work, dedication, striving to be best, staying consistence on and off the field is my definition of being a Champion,”  said Ken Johnson.
Coach Johnson says,  he is  more than just a coach to his player, he is also a positive role model and  father figure.  His ambition and purpose is to empower his players to be great in all that they do.  Coaching to him is more than what you can get out if, but more so of leaving a positive impact on each child he comes across. Coach Johnson believes giving his players the necessary tools , that will impact their lives to become outstanding young mens.
